THE GENERAL OVERVIEWS

TAWALA ZA MIKOA NA SERIKALI ZA MITAA (TAMISEMI)

The role of the Ministry is to coordinate and supervise regional development management and administration. Thus, the ministry coordinates rural and urban development management policy and strategies; coordinates Regional Secretariats activities and builds their capacity in institutional development strategies for integrated socioeconomic development and financial development of Local Government Authorities.

The Ministry also coordinates and supervises development planning and sectoral interventions on donor supported programmes at district and other locals levels; issues ministerial guidelines to Regional Secretariats and Local Government Authorities; and strengthen the channel of communication and information flow between the national and sub-national levels.

The TAMISEMI is guided by the folowing terms which are :-

PO-RALG is committed to be a leading institution in empowering Regional Administration and Local Government Authorities to improve the provision of quality life and services to the community.

 

MISSION

In order to move towards the realization of the Mission within the short, medium and long term; PO-RALG, in collaboration stakeholders will :-

• Champion decentralization by devolution and create a capable RegionalAdministration and autonomous Local Government Authorities.
• Effectively and efficiently manage the critical interfaces between MDAs in compliance with the D by D policy.
• Promote Urban and Rural development Policies.
• Provide continuous performance improvement and empower employees to full fill their maximum
• potentials.So as to eventually improve the overall quality of life to the majority of Tanzanians.

TAWALA ZA MIKOA NA SERIKALI ZA MITAA (TAMISEMI) ANNOUNCED FORM FIVE REPORTING DATE FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2023/24

On August 14th, 2023 act as a first day for the form five selected Student to start the first term or time to Start Academic year . So  all students selected  to join the Form five for Academic year 2023 they should start reporting to School from August 13^th  2023. The Student given time within August all form five student Should attend to his or her selected School ,So the  last reporting day month and year  is August 31st, 2023. All Student are required to attend at the School on time and don’t foget to read the form five join Instructions of your school.

How to get form five joining Instructions of a given Schools ?

The following  below are the steps on how to download your joining instruction of your school

• You can access Form 5 Joining Instructions for 2023/2024 Academic year by visiting the TAMISEMI Official form five selection portal which is :- http://selform.tamisemi.go.tz/
• Register your account but if you have account already just login
• Find the name of the school to which you have been selected to join or your name.
• The list of selected applicants will be displayed for that particular school.
• Just click link of the school name from the listing, then your will be redirected to the school joining instruction form page and the pdf document of your joining instruction will be downloaded automatically.
• Please save the print or save the downloaded pdf document.
