THE OVERVIEWS

THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION (NACTE)

The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) is a corporate body established by the National Council for Technical Education Act, 1997 (Act No. 9 of 1997). The Act provides a legal framework for the Council to coordinate provision of technical education and training and establish an efficient national qualifications system that will ensure that products from technical institutions are of high quality and respond to changing needs as well as technological innovations in the world.

NACTE ADMISSIONS FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2023/24

The Guidebooks contains various information about the institutions offering the certificate and diploma courses,The Guidebook describes more about the Entry requirements and years of Studying in both Certificate and Diploma. Minimum entry requirement for certificate and diploma programme to be four passes in Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) excluding passes in religious subjects. However, there are some programme requirements that are specific to certain programmes.

The programmes offered ranges from Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4), Technician Certificate (NTA Level 5) to Diploma (NTA Level 6).

BELOW ARE THE MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENT IN EACH PROGRAMMES

Entry Requirements into Science and Allied Technologies (SAT) Programmes

For an applicant to be eligible for admission into Science and Allied Technologies programmes, he or she must satisfy the minimum entry requirements of four passes in non religious subjects in Certificate of secondary education examination (CSEE). However,there are some programme requirements that are specific to certain programmes.

Entry Requirements for Admission into Health and Allied Sciences (HAS) Programmes

For an applicant to be eligible for admission into Health and Allied Sciences (HAS), he or she must satisfy the minimum entry requirements of four passes in non religious subjects in Certificate of secondary education examination (CSEE). However, there are some programme requirements that are specific to certain programmes.

Entry Requirements for Admission into Business, Tourism and Planning (BPT) Programmes

For an applicant to be eligible for admission into Business, Tourism and Planning (BPT), he or she must satisfy the minimum entry requirements of four passes in non-religious subjects in Certificate of secondary education examination (CSEE). However, there are some programme requirements that are specific to certain programmes.

THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO APPLY !!!

As mentioned above NACTE have almost three programmes which are Health and Allied Sciences Programmes,Teacher Training Programmes,Business,Tourism and Planning Programmes and Science and Allied Technology Programmes .So for those Student or Applicant who wishes to do Applications for Collage must pass through several stages which are :-

Set up your NACTE application Account
Paying the application fee for the Online application
Fill in your online application form with your chosen course and colleges
Review, edit and submitted your Online application

By Completing those stage above the Applicant should wait for Feedback of Applications.

What should Applicant know before Applications ?

During the Applicatios of the programmes the Applicants must have a valid and working email address and mobile phone number.
In Advice Applicant should select your most preferred Programme according to his or her qualifications.
The Applicants can select up to 12 institutions or programmes.
The Application Fees is Tshs.10,000/= per institution and maximum of Tshs.30,000/= for the rest of the choices (Non-refundable).
Applicants will be issued a Control Number for the payment of the Application Fees.
The payment can be made through Mobile Money services or Bank.

How to Register or Create Nacte Account ???

Step by Step on how to register nacte account in NACTE Website :-

Step 1 : Visit the NACTE website :- https://tvetims.nacte.go.tz/

Step 2 : Scroll down to bottom there is sentence say “If this is your first time click here to start your application”

Step 3 : Click here buttons for getting Nacte registrations form

Step 4 : Answer all questions you have asked by the system then,

Step 5 : An empty space will display then fill all space then continue

Step 6 : Finally press register button to send data in Nacte database After that your Email could be your username and password will be used in login to the system.

How to Login on your Nacte account ???

Step by Step on how to reach Login form in NACTE Website :-

Step 1 : Visit the NACTE website :- https://tvetims.nacte.go.tz/

Step 2 : Scroll down to bottom there is sentence say “If you are already registered please click here”

Step 3 : Click that here buttons for getting Nacte login form

Step 4 : Enter your Username and Password then,

Step 5 : Enter certain code of the Image Diplayed in the form below Password box

Step 6 : Finally press Login button to allow search User details in the database If true will Access the Account and If false will reject ,The user will required to enter truth Informations
