Stellenbosch University (SU) is home to a university community of 32 535 students (including) 2 900 international students from 64 countries) as well as 3 000 permanent staff members (including 1 377 academics) across our five campuses.

Our main campus in the historical oak-lined university town of Stellenbosch lies nestled amongst the Boland Mountains in the winelands of the Western Cape creates a unique campus atmosphere, which attracts local and international students alike. STELLENBOSCH UNIVERSITY SU FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

The Faculty of Engineering is one of Stellenbosch University’s flagship faculties and is one of South Africa’s major producers of top quality engineers .In addition, our outstanding research and consulting services add value to industry, and substantially supplement our funding streams.

There are approximately 4 000 engineering students, of whom 3 000 are undergraduate and 1 000 postgraduate.The Faculty was established in 1944 and is housed in a large complex of buildings with modern facilities.
